Howards, a progressive firm of chartered certified accountants in Stafford with a reputation for delivering high-quality solutions and services, has announced record growth in its most successful year to date which has seen the company take on several new members of staff.
Putting its success down to building strong relationships with its clients – whether international PLCs, established small to medium enterprises (SMEs) or start-up sole traders – Howards has expanded its payroll team, appointed a new personal taxation specialist, opened up an additional new accounts department and taken on two highly valued apprentices.
Now operating at record staff levels, Howards has grown to meet the ever-increasing demands of its customer base for a flexible service that simplifies complex issues such as workers’ pensions auto enrolment and flat rate VAT changes for small businesses. Companies are also looking for professional help on how to deal with recent changes to the dividend tax system and the overhaul of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) in the UK.
Howards’ Managing Director Matt Bailey – who himself advises a large number of customers from small owner-managed businesses to large multi-national corporates – says of the company’s recent growth: “In the highly competitive market of chartered accountants it is essential to offer something extra special to clients. We have always done that with our absolute commitment to delivering high-quality, value-driven accounting and business services combined with a personal and professional approach. At the same time, we have structured our company in such a way that we are always approachable and flexible for our customers, no matter what their needs.”
Matt adds: “We are delighted with the recent growth we have experienced and we have taken on several top quality members of staff who will enable us to expand still further. We are looking forward to an exciting future in which we continue to grow and continue to provide the best possible services for our clients.”
