We’re delighted to announce that one of our team, 22-yeard old Jenna Hands, has been named as a finalist in the 2018 Staffordshire Chambers Business Awards (SCBA).
Jenna has been shortlisted for Young Employee/Apprentice of the Year, an award that recognises someone under the age of 25 who has demonstrated exceptional dedication, advancement and contribution not only within their role, but also within their employer’s business as a whole.
Jenna joined us in 2016 with experience in statutory audit but little exposure to other areas of accountancy. During the past couple of years she has exceeded all expectations, developing her skills in VAT, CIS and company year returns, auditing and year end statutory accounts as well as SRA accounts rules audits for our solicitor clients.
Part ACCA-qualified, Jenna is building her portfolio, which includes some of our most prestigious clients, and has taken an active role in training new staff.
As an ACCA Gold Status Approved Employer we take our responsibility to train our staff very seriously and are proud to say that Jenna is a model student! Keen to learn, she is determined to achieve her potential and provide the very best service to her clients.
Given the overwhelming number and standard of entries we’re delighted that Jenna is in with a chance of winning a Staffordshire Chamber Business Award. The awards scheme recognises the county’s innovative, sector-leading businesses so we are also pleased that several of our clients are finalists, while the firm was commended in the Professional Services of the Year category.
